Thousands protest gay marriage ban in Los Angeles (KESQ Palm Springs)
LOS ANGELES (AP) - More than 2,000 people protesting California's new ban on gay marriage have marched through the streets of Los Angeles. The marchers snarled afternoon rush-hour traffic on the city's westside as hundreds of police officers tried to contain them.
